Lessons Learned: Lighting

I spent a ton of time looking for lights for our place. My major take-away…don’t worry, they all end up looking great. Seriously…every light I put up looked 10 times better once installed. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because a space can look so unfinished without proper lighting, but pendants in particular, really make a room.

Think about all the different options that could have been used in the shots below – and I think they all look great, as is.

Vestibule: Lighting

Our front door will be 10 feet tall. There’s a good chance it will swing too wide to allow for a pendant light in the entrance. But I’m hoping we can squeeze in one of these glass fixtures.
