There is no shortage of amazing stuff to fill a playroom. I don’t even know where to begin, to be honest. It seems every day I find something new to love. I’ve posted before about some great playroom furniture. Here are a few more pieces that stand-out (for today, that is)
Below: Stek is a company based in the Netherlands producing some very cool furniture for kids. Why does it seem that everything I love is coming out of the Netherlands these days? Found via Bloesem Kids.
Below: Felt covered stools by Bookhou.
Below: Kalon Studios is an LA and Berlin based company that is producing some really beautiful, sustainable products. They
are focused on “contemporary form and innovative design”. Their hut hut rocking horse is a stunning sculptural product – probably too nice to keep in the basement! They also now offer more affordable (and colourful) pieces in five sustainable resin colors. Thank you Coochicoos for introducing me to this line.

Below: Ferm Living recently launched a line of floor cushions – aren’t they great? I also love Fatboy bean bag chairs . I sort of feel like a basement wouldn’t be complete without some sort of comfy piece to flake out on.
