I really can’t live without colour. If you’ve been following this blog, you know that I gravitate towards neutral foundations in homes…grey tones, white walls, simple wood floors – but I love adding colour as an accent (i.e. just take a look at my striped runners!).
Seeing this home in Madrid just makes me smile – it feels so carefree and unrestrained.

I’ve designed a house with pretty neutral tones – walnut floors, white walls, charcoal doors and accents. But I love colour. I think little touches of colour here and there make a home.
