On the Water
Dec 20 2012I’m back. Pretty phenomenal trip. Thought I’d ease back into things with a seriously spectacular lake house. Love the barn elements, the staircase, the setting. Quite something.

Serious Steps
Sep 19 2012When we were building our place, one of the hardest parts was deciding how to finish the staircase. Now, I can’t seem to help myself – I’m constantly clipping pictures of stairs.
While I’d like to think I could live with “railing-less” steps or even treads with gaps, I think the mom in me will win out. It’s a no go for my place, but these are still great to look at:
