This tub has been popping up in photos all over the place lately. The more I see it, the more I like it. I finally tracked down the design. It’s the Vieques tub for Agape by the ever talented Patricia Urquiola. I believe it was actually designed in 2008 – but for some reason, it’s coming on my radar now.
Anyhow – it’s lovely looking and a refreshing change from your standard white freestanding tub. It also comes with a teak backrest – which is a good thing because even though it looks great, it would probably be seriously uncomfortable without it.

There’s some pretty fabulous design coming out of Belgium these days. I say that with a bit of envy – I actually did an exchange program there while in University. I had the most incredible time – but my experience (obviously) looked nothing like this:
