Master Bedroom: Set the Tone

I’m back from a lovely vacation and my head is (sort of) clear. I was in serious sleep deprivation mode before taking off and seem to have skipped over most of the 2nd floor. Woops. So here it goes.

Let’s (re)start with the master bedroom. For the time being, we’re actually going to stick with furniture that we’ve got – so I really don’t have too many decisions to make for this space. But that won’t stop me from looking.

Below: Photo from The Selby. I love the shape and colour of the bed frame. I think this shot if actually for a Cole Haan ad. Nice shoes as well!

Below: My preferred palette is in play in the rooms below – whites and greys care of photographer Peter Aaron, Elle Decor, and Hotel Skeppsholmen in Stockholm.

Below: I like the idea of adding texture to the walls. Check out some takes on this element care of Aedes Studio, Calvin Klein, and Nicolas Koening.
