I’d watched Graham Hill, Treehugger founder and all around good guy, on Ted Talks a while back discussing his multi-purpose 420 sq ft NYC apartment. I thought it was a brilliant example of how to live well with less. The NYT magazine just shared some photos of Graham’s place. Now I can really say, this is seriously clever use of space.
There are moving walls to transform space, storage built into every possible nook, and a murphy bed that folds down without shifting items on the shelf / foot. Graham, an architect and product designer by training, even designed his own bike so that the handles and pedals sit flush.
Time for some spring purging, don’t you think? Well done, Graham.
